This Australian site has a safety booklet which has activities that can be photocopied. The activities and lessons pertain to safety in the home and introduce newcomers to things that might be different in their new homes.

Alberta Teachers of English as a Second Language (ATESL) is a professional organization that promotes the highest standards of ESL provision in Alberta. This website provides links to reports that are the products of various innovative projects funded by the government and others. All reports have an Alberta focus and deal with a variety of special topics within ESL.

This website has a variety of reading, writing, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and numeracy activities. It also has resources to help learners understand mathematical concepts and includes an area where learner stories are published. The materials are more appropriate for Phase III learners.

This website is designed to teach students basic computer skills relating to the use of a keyboard, mouse, and computer screen. Students are guided by an on-line tutor who gives verbal instructions. The site includes a variety of visual effects.
