Elsanet has recently published a CLB formative assessment toolkit, Formative Assessment Toolkit: ELSA levels Literacy to 5: Teaching Resource Materials.

In addition to ideas for formative assessment in the LINC programs, it also offers ideas for assessment in the literacy classrooms, using the Phases. I love the ideas about using checklists.
